Neora Valley Trek
It is a gentle trekking in the Neora Valley Nature Reserve to Rachela Pass. Neora Valley Nature Reserve is one of the last remaining pristine ecosystems of the Eastern Himalaya with its incredible bio-diversity, and it is the home to many rare and endangered, flora, fauna and avi-fauna. This trek initiates from Lava and the trail extends through the richly forested hills and valleys to reach the 3152 Mts high, Rachela Pass at the Indo-Bhutan border. The return trek is through much easy pastures comprising the farmlands and villages of Rishi River Valley with its tribal settlements, cardamom plantations, gushing streams and waterfalls. Very few people have visited this hidden natural jewel and if you are looking for an easy trek in an area rich in natural history and beautiful views this is just the trek for you. For birdwatchers this trek is enjoyable during the spring time.
Day 01: Arrival at Kolkata/Delhi
Arrival at Kolkata (land of Joy)/New Delhi. Received upon arrival and transferred to hotel. Day free at your, leisure. Evening, free. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing
Sightseeing the boulevards of the erstwhile British capital which still carries the reminiscence of the days of Raj in India. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 03: Kolkata/Delhi- Kalimpong
Morning drive to the airport for flight to Bagdogra. Received upon arrival and transferred to Kalimpong. Evening free to explore the local market. Overnight in hotel.
Day 04: Kalimpong (sightseeing and drive to LAVA)
Morning visit Monastery and Kalimpong bazaar. Afternoon drive to Lava (2100m). Overnight at Forest Bunglow or Private Lodge.
Day 05:
Trek begins from Lava and we proceed towards

Day 08: Lava
Trek back to Lava. Overnight in Forest Bunglow or Private Lodge.
Day 09: Kalimpong
Drive back to a local Farm House, evening free. Overnight in Samthar Farm House.
Day 10: Darjeeling
Drive via Teesta Valley and tea gardens to Darjeeling. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 11: Darjeeling
Early morning visit Tiger Hill for sunrise view over Khanchenjunga range, Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. Post breakfast visit the HMI, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Tibetan refugee self help camp. Evening free. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 12: Bagdogra (IXB)
Drive to Bagdogra or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.
