Day 01: Arrival at Bagdogra/NJP /Bhadrapur
Received and transferred to Chalsa. Evening free. Overnight at Resort.
Day 02: Chalsa : tea garden, cinchona & cardamom plantation and khunia
Early morning we will visit a nearby tea plantation, to take part in tea plucking. After leisurely breakfast at the retreat we will drive to Bindu a small village, where we will visit cinchona plantation and export quality cardamom plantation. Back to retreat for Lunch. Late afternoon we will drive to Khunia beet of Gorumara Forest, to see the wild animals, from the observation tower. Overnight at Resort.
Day 03: Lataguri : chapramari, hike upto neora river, gorumara watchtower
Set out in the morning, after early breakfast to the Chapramari forest. We will then have a short hike on the old railway track to the Neora River. After noon lunch at a local resort at Lataguri. Late afternoon we will drive to Gorumara beet of Gorumara Forest, to see the wild animals, from the Yatra Prasad observation tower. Overnight at Resort.
Day 04: Jaldapara
After breakfast in the morning we will drive along the meandering road to a picturesque Sunthale Khola (orange stream) via Samsing. After lunch and will drive through the tea gardens to the forest lodge at Hollong. Overnight at Hollong Forest Lodge.
Day 05: Coochbehar
Early morning you will be taken on elephant back to the core area of the Jaldapara Sanctuary to track the one horned Indian Rhinoceros (unicorn), on the way you will encounter with many animal species of the sanctuary. After breakfast we will drive to Totopara, the village of the existing aboriginal people of North Bengal, and then we will drive to Coochbehar, (erstwhile princely state of Koch king). We will visit the kings palace, the century old Madanmohan temple, the century old Sagar Dighi (Great pond). Check into hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Coochbehar
sAfter breakfast you will be transferred to your next destination. Tour Ends.
